Watch: Ciaran Lavery's full Live Lockdown Session for Belfast Live

Northern Irish singer-songwriter Ciaran Lavery took part in a live music session during the weekend on Belfast Live's Instagram account, as part of our #InThisTogether campaign.

The folk-rock singer, who was awarded the NI Music Prize 'Album of the Year' back in 2015 for his album Let Bad In, is one of Northern Ireland's most loved contemporary musicians, and his songs have racked up almost 100 million listens on Spotify.

A natural recluse, Ciaran has spent the last few months recording and sharing songs, ahead of the release of his long-awaited fourth album.

Four our live session, the singer performed tracks  from the new album on our Instagram account, as well as a few from the back catalogue.

Belfast Live Lockdown sessions have been aiming to promote Northern Irish artists as they're forced to putting to the touring schedules to one side and isolate to stop the spread of Coronavirus.

We've got an exciting line-up of artists which we'll be announcing throughout the coming weeks, to keep your entertained while you're in doors.

You can watch our first session with Ryan McMullan here.

Help us help you - if you're a creative, a business owner or if you know of a small business that is doing things differently to try and keep your things going during this time, reach out to us and we'll be able to offer support at this difficult time.
