Trailing 10-7 to the Oakland Raiders in the second quarter, former Georgia wide receiver Mecole Hardman was able to get open for a 42 yard touchdown catch in the end zone.
It was third and 20, and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes delivered a pretty strike to Hardman, who used his speed to beat the Raiders secondary to the end zone.
With Kansas City’s star wide receiver, Tyreek Hill, out with injury, we all expected Hardman, a second round NFL Draft pick, to have his chance to step up and produce in the Chiefs offense.
And he did just that.
Congrats to Hardman on his first career NFL touchdown.
