Chiefs Kingdom is anxiously awaiting the official announcement of the signing for safety Tyrann Mathieu.
After being scorned in the past by Emmanuel Sanders in a previous free agency period, Chiefs fans likely won’t feel comfortable until a deal is officially announced. Just days ago, Anthony Barr backed out of a contract with the New York Jets and returned to the Minnesota Vikings. It was reported that he felt sick about his decision and changed his mind.
It’s easy to understand the uneasiness that comes with the process, but Chiefs Kingdom doesn’t have anything to truly fear because the Honey Badger has officially landed in Kansas City. The Chiefs teased his arrival on social media this evening. Take a look:
The video isn’t even 25 seconds long, but it does a great job letting fans know that Mathieu is in the building. He flew in on a private jet and had a nice escort to the team facilities where he’s likely getting settled and acquainted.
