WATCH: Chiefs QB Matt Moore connects with Tyreek Hill for first TD since 2017

Kansas City Chiefs backup QB Matt Moore now knows what it’s like to play with a Cheetah.

Moore was thrust into action for the injured Patrick Mahomes. He hasn’t started a game or scored a touchdown since the 2017 season when he played with the Miami Dolphins.

With things looking exceptionally grim for the Chiefs, all phases of the game have stepped up to pick up the slack, including the offense under Moore’s quarterbacking. Late in the third quarter, Moore connected with Tyreek Hill for his first touchdown since 2017. He hit Hill in stride about 20 yards in the air and let him do the rest of the work.

These are the type of plays that the Chiefs will need their receivers to make without Patrick Mahomes out of there. They need to get open in 1-on-1 situations and get some solid yards after the catch. Hill took the ball 57 yards to the house on this play. Look for more of these types of plays for the remainder of the game and if Mahomes is out with injury for any length of time.
