WATCH: Chiefs parody video featuring Eric Stonestreet as Andy Reid’s brother

Randy Reid, younger brother of Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, visits the team every year at training camp to help get the team prepared for the upcoming season.

“It fires me up every year to be able to bring Randy up to training camp,” Andy explained. “I mean, he’s my little brother. I don’t get to see him very often. He brings energy to the team, the guys love him, man. It’s ridiculous.”

The younger Reid owns Randy Reid’s Rockin’ Watercraft Warehouse in Oxnard, California. However, when he’s up at training camp, he draws on his Pop Warner days for inspiration. The coaching staff and the players just love having him around, even the front office appreciates the energy he brings.

“No, listen. Randy is great to have around,” Chiefs general manager Brett Veach said. “He brings a lot of energy and he loves to get involved. He’s almost like having another coach out there — one that we don’t want or need.”

Be sure to watch the video at the top of the page profiling Randy’s journey to 2019 Chiefs training camp in St. Joseph, Missouri.
