WATCH: Chiefs introductory press conference for DE Frank Clark

The Kansas City Chiefs held their introductory press conference for star defensive end Frank Clark today. They recently acquired Clark in trade from the Seattle Seahawks for a package of draft picks, which included their first-round pick from the 2019 NFL draft.

During the press conference Chiefs GM Brett Veach revealed the team planned all along to pursue Frank Clark, whether he reached free agency or they had to acquire him via trade. He referred back to his aggressive nature in acquiring the players they want as a driving factor in why the Chiefs were willing to give up a package to acquire an elite player like Clark.

Clark spoke on his background, growing up homeless in the streets of Los Angeles. He also covers what he brings to the Chiefs as a player and as a person in the community. When asked about a domestic violence allegation that led to his dismissal from the University of Michigan, Clark claimed that it helped him learn to be a better person and teammate.

Andy Reid also chimed in and spoke on the monster game that Clark had against the Chiefs in 2018.

You can watch the complete video of the press conference at the top of the page, which covers all of the items listed above and more.
