WATCH: Chase Young gets to quarterback, causes interception against Carolina

Former Ohio State and current Washington Football Team defensive end Chase Young is becoming a real problem in the NFL. He has already made the Pro Bowl roster as a rookie, and he seems to be getting better as the season wears on.

The freakish athlete has a very rare blend of size, strength, and speed to create serious mismatches as an edge rusher, and we have another example of those skills on display Sunday.

Watch, as Young gets loose around the end, gets his hips turned, and is able to reach and hit the throwing arm of Carolina quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, leading to a pass to flutter and get picked off by the Washington defense.

You have to believe if Young continues to flash these types of plays, he’ll be in the very, very shortlist for NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year. In fact, we’d put odds on him winning it as things stand today.
