There is sure to be plenty of times former Ohio State players meet on an NFL football field this fall. With roughly 50 former Buckeyes on rosters across the league and almost 30 starters, we’ve already been busy keeping up with all the action in week one.
From Dwayne Haskins slinging his first TD of the year, to J.K. Dobbins notching his first NFL career score, to Chase Young breaking the seal on his sack assault on Sundays, the highlights have been plenty.
Some meetings are simply a situation of appearing on the same football field together, but the one between former Buckeyes Joey Bosa and Joe Burrow meant something much more. It was a close encounter collision on the football field when the older Bosa bullied his way into Cincinnati’s backfield and tracked down Burrow and brought him to the ground for a sack.
