Watch chaos after Ed Sheeran at Roundhay Park as thousands fight through mud to leave show

The video above shows two sides to the story of a very muddy Roundhay Park for Ed Sheeran's first of two shows .

As you'll see, fans were in good spirits despite the rain ahead of the performance as thousands arrived in Leeds from across the north.

This was the story of the night as Ed Sheeran, supported by The Darkness and Lewis Capaldi, lit up Roundhay Park in front of record crowds.

But come the end of the show it wasn't so easy getting out of the venue...

The video shows people scrambling to railings to climb up the banks of the cricket field.

One woman can be seen stranded on the ground and unable to move in the mud!
