“There’s a quote I like to say; ‘Be one percent better today than you were yesterday,'” shares Boston Celtics rookie small forward Aaron Nesmith at the start of the third installment of the Celtics’ team-produced video series “Lucky Rooks”.
Nesmith is working to earn floor time in a season with almost no practices, and little opportunity to learn on the fly given the team’s lofty goals of a deep postseason run. But he doesn’t let that bother him — instead, he focuses on his preparation and training to make the most of any potential opportunity to help his team win.
“Every time I get an opportunity out there, it’s just another opportunity for me to get more comfortable and allow the game to slow down,” explains the Vanderbilt product.
