Watch Celtic train in France as they prepare for Nice test

Celtic kick off their pre-season friendly schedule tonight against Nice.

It's the first of three friendly encounters that Neil Lennon's men will take part in, with games against Moussa Dembele's Nice and the superstars of PSG also coming up.

The Premiership champions arrived in France on Wednesday, and Celtic have shared footage of them being put through their paces in training.

The likes of Odsonne Edouard, Christopher Jullien and Scott Brown can be seen preparing for the run of matches.

Ahead of the Nice match, Brown talked about his memories of their manager Patrick Vieira. As quoted in Record Sport, the Celtic captain said: "Vieira was dynamite in the middle of the park. He was Arsenal’s driving force.

"I used to love watching the midfield battles he had with Roy Keane. I grew up watching those two going at it on a regular basis and I loved it.

“I wouldn’t say I modelled my game on him. He’s a wee bit taller than me – and a wee bit better!

“But I think my generation and players in my position watched the likes of Vieira and Keane. I just loved the way they went out and tried to show who was the daddy out there."

Celtic's match against Nice kicks off at 5.15pm UK time.
