While Week 2’s game hasn’t gotten out of hand on the field with the Houston Texans taking an early 3-0 lead against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the same can’t be said about things on the sidelines. In the first quarter of Sunday’s AFC South battle, the cameras caught Jags cornerback Jalen Ramsey and coach Doug Marrone in a heated exchange. In the clip below, Marrone came over to say something to Ramsey, however, the fourth-year corner didn’t want to hear it and both were separated. Thankfully, cooler heads eventually prevailed.
It’s unclear what the altercation was about, but most have speculated that it was the result of Marrone not throwing a challenge flag on a play that occurred early in the first quarter when receiver Deandre Hopkins caught a pass that may have hit the ground. Regardless, neither Marrone or Ramsey can let the incident effect them going forward because the Jags can’t afford to fall to 0-2 on the season.
