As we know, the Madden ratings are out for the rookies in the NFL. We profiled all the notable ratings for each of the Cardinals rookies on the game.
The team had rookie receiver Hakeem Butler reveal the ratings to his teammates. You can see the reactions in the video below.
Kyler Murray guesses his speed rating is 93. It is actually 91. Knowing Murray has a 91 rating, receiver Andy Isabella thinks he should be at least a 98 for speed, saying he is “way faster” than Murray. He is actually a 95.
Murray was floored when he was told his accuracy rating was 82. Murray was sure that had to be in the 90s.
Cornerback Byron Murphy undersold his speed and acceleration. He thought he would be a 75 speed, when he was rated an 88. Murphy liked that. However, he has much more confidence in his tackling than those who rated him in the video game. He said he should be a 98 for tackling. He is a 56.
The best part is when Murphy finds out he has a higher rating than Murray. He flexes and you can hear Murray yell in disbelief.
