It’s a video of a driver ‘middle lane hogging’ - and it led to their car being crushed.
Police on the M6 Toll on patrol came across the motorist in the Vauxhall Corsa travelling in the middle lane on the deserted road for several miles n Wednesday, October 14.
The footage which police from the Central Motorway Policing Group have released shows the car going along for a while in the road at 60mph.
After almost four miles in the central lane, police stopped the silver Vauxhall Corsa.
Officers said they discovered he was travelling on an Albanian driving licence and was also uninsured on the car.
More checks revealed he was an ‘illegal immigrant’, the officers said.
The vehicle was seized and sent to be crushed while he was arrested and taken to a police cell.
Sharing the above video, Central Motorway Policing Group tweeted: “We’ve just stopped this vehicle on the M6 toll after driving in lane 2 for almost four miles.
“Upon stopping him, he wasn’t insured and driving on an Albanian driving licence.
“Further checks show he is an illegal immigrant... car to the crusher, male to a cell.”
