Camilo Duran did not take long to impress for Celtic, with the forward scoring just minutes after making his debut for his new club.
The 24-year-old was a doubt to take part in the warm-weather pre-season friendly against Sporting CP in the Algarve due to illness. Despite this, he was named on the bench for Martin O'Neill's side, replacing Callum Osmand after 64 minutes of play.

Five minutes later, the Colombian broke his goalscoring duck, following good pressure from the ex-Qarabag attacker. After intercepting the ball from his opponent, Duran closed in on goal, slotting the ball past the Sporting goalkeeper, who failed to keep the low shot out of his net.
Despite this, it would be a night to forget for the visitors to Portugal, as Sporting ran out 4-1 winners on the night.
Speaking after his signing last week, Duran said, “I'm very happy, it's a dream come true to sign for a big club like Celtic, the biggest in Scotland, and I'm just excited to get going and score lots of goals.
