Well, it only took three minutes and 39 seconds in Thursday night’s game against the Patriots for the Rams to eclipse their touchdown total from Super Bowl LIII.
On their opening drive of the night, the Rams marched 75 yards down the field in just six plays, punching it into the end zone to go up 7-0 on the Patriots in the first quarter.
It was Cam Akers’ 35-yard touchdown run on the second play from scrimmage that helped set up the touchdown, getting all the way down to the Patriots’ 10-yard line.
From there, two more runs by Akers, a completion to Cooper Kupp and a QB sneak by Jared Goff got the Rams into the end zone.
