The Falcons traded wide receiver Mohamed Sanu to the Patriots on Tuesday, and while he may have become the fourth option on the field, Sanu meant a great deal to this team in the locker room.
Calvin Ridley is likely to see an uptick in his usage rate as a result of Sanu’s departure. On Wednesday, Ridley downplayed his role change, instead speaking about how much his former teammate has helped him over the past two seasons.
