Watch: Cade Mays makes nasty block, ESPN’s Desmond Howard underwhelmed

ESPN’s College GameDay co-host, Desmond Howard, did not seem all that impressed with Georgia’s football schedule so far this season.

SEC Network analyst Cole Cubelic posted a positive tweet about sophomore right guard Cade Mays, praising the way he blocks for his quarterback, but Howard was underwhelmed by the Arkansas State pass rush that Mays was handling.

Mays puts a pretty sick block on a defender here, but to Howard’s point, it is an Arkansas State team who Georgia shutout by a whopping score of 55 – 0.

Georgia’s first few games might not have been the best, but that will all be changing come Saturday night when the #7 ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish come to Athens for a top-10 showdown.  The Dawgs are currently favored by 14.5 points and average ticket prices have been moving to upwards of $700.  All in all, this might be the craziest weekend ever in Athens, Georgia.
