WATCH: C.J. Stroud hits Chris Olave for 38-yard TD in first half against Penn State

It has been far from easy for Ohio State on offense against a very good Penn State defense so far. After scoring points in bunches, the Nittany Lions are making life very difficult on the Buckeye offense.

That all finally changed though late in the first half when C.J. Stroud stepped up in the pocket and found receiver Chris Olave for a 38-yard touchdown strike to finally give OSU the lead 10-7. It was a play that was very much needed to get Stroud and the offense some confidence.

It’s clear at this point that this Penn State team is not the same one that lost to Illinois at home last week and that the Buckeyes could be in for a battle. For now, though, enjoy the long touchdown pass to hopefully give a little momentum to Ohio State.
