Kawhi Leonard is the reigning NBA Finals MVP, but the star may have trouble in a few businesses local to both his one-year home, Toronto, and in his new home in Los Angeles with his new teammate Paul George.
Leonard’s decision to sign a max deal with the Clippers (instead of the Lakers or resigning with the Raptors) has some people in their feelings in both the Canadian city and in the Californian one. Zanzibar, a gentlemen’s club in Toronto, offered free lapdances for life for members of the Raptors after winning the team’s first NBA Championship, but the location has exiled Leonard now.
The Californian coffee chain, Alfred Coffee, posted a similar message to its Instagram story Monday saying, “We reserve the right to refuse service to Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and anyone else affiliated with the Clippers organization.”
Fortunately for the NBA athlete, there should be another spot (or several) that will welcome him with open arms.
