Bryce Harper and his wife welcomed their first child into the world Thursday, Aug. 22 and the Philadelphia Phillies slugger shared the first family photo with the new addition on Monday.
Harper captioned the Instagram post simply, “⭐️⚡️ Krew Aron Harper ⚡️⭐️.” The picture of the MLB star and his wife, Kayla, showed the three-person family in a hospital bed with a letter board in the foreground that said “Krew Aron Harper. 8.22.19. 7lbs, 9 oz, 19 inches.”
The 26-year-old, first overall 2010 MLB Draft pick has been on paternity leave since last Tuesday, Aug. 20. He rejoins the Phillies Monday night as the team returns from a road trip and hosts the Pittsburgh Pirates.
