WATCH: Bryce Harper’s wooden bat from his high school career is up for auction

Bryce Harper played with a wooden bat in his two years of high school baseball, even though he didn’t have to. Now, one of the wooden bats he used in his brief amateur career is up for auction.

Robert Edward Auctions lists eight days left on the authenticated wooden baseball bat and got its first bid in at the asking price of $2,500 with plenty of time left for fans to bid.

The bat was custom made for Harper by M Powered Bats and features his name, the model number and length stamped on it in white.

The auction ends next weekend.
