The Browns (2-4) are hitting the road to play the Patriots (7-0) Sunday.
For a short time at Thursday’s press conference, Jarvis Landry guaranteed that Cleveland would hand New England its first loss of the season.
“Well, we’re going to win,” Landry said. “We’re going to win. I think it’s just that simple. We’re getting guys back healthy again, and we’re going to win.”
According to Cleveland.com. the receiver then walked back his seeming confidence by clarifying that he meant the team is going *there*, to New England, to win.
Meaning that the mission on the trip is the same as every other for the Browns, not in fact guaranteeing that the Browns are going to hand the Pats their first loss of the season.
