Coming into the day the Browns defense had been great but hadn’t really forced many turnovers. That has changed today as they are now up to three forced turnovers after Denzel Ward picks off Gardner Minshew to set up another field goal.
It was such a great play from Ward who looks like he is about to crash down and stop Minshew from running but at the last second peels back and picks the ball off. The Browns’ defense was struggling to start the day and they have clearly woken up and have started to really outplay the Colts’ offense.
Their offense however has not been very good despite having 30 points on the board they have just missed opportunities. The Browns have many questions on that side of the ball but there aren’t many about the defense. Hopefully, they can continue to play well and get Cleveland their fourth win of the year.
