Watch Brock Lesnar beat Cain Velasquez in short order at WWE Crown Jewel

Cain Velasquez’s debut match in WWE didn’t go as planned.

Actually, if you watch enough WWE – and I’m sure you don’t – you would know that it went exactly as planned: with Brock Lesnar winning, of course!

Velasquez, the former UFC heavyweight champion, ran it back with WWE champ Lesnar on Friday at “Crown Jewel” in Saudi Arabia. It was billed as a “rematch” of their 2010 UFC fight, when Velasquez dominated Lesnar and took the title from him with a TKO victory. But, you know, this is pro wrestling. So it wasn’t really a rematch.

In fact, it wasn’t really all that entertaining, and that’s partly because it didn’t last all that long, either.

Lesnar won with a Kimura submission after taking some strikes and stuff from Velasquez. If you’d like to watch the match, well, here you go (via Twitter):
