The Brit Awards have paid tribute to Caroline Flack with a moving speech at the start of Tuesday night's ceremony.
Following an opening performance from multiple nominee, Don't Call Me Up singer Mabel, host Jack Whitehall took to the stage and after teasing performances to come, took time to remember Caroline, who he referred to as "a member of the Brits family."
Caroline was found dead at her flat in Stoke Newington, London on Saturday, at the age of 40, with her death confirmed by her family in a statement which read: "We can confirm that our Caroline passed away today on the 15th February.
"We would ask that the press both respect the privacy of the family at this difficult time."
Since then there has been an outpouring of grief from friends, celebrities and many fans across the country
And in his speech about her, Jack said "She was a kind and vibrant person with an infectious sense of fun who will be sorely missed. I'm sure I speak for everyone here when I say our thoughts are with her friends and family."
