In the Arizona Cardinals’ preseason opener, quarterback Brett Hundley threw a 22-yards touchdown pass to receiver Trent Sherfield in the final minute of the first half against the Los Angeles Chargers. It was one of the highlights on the game.
Against the Oakland Raiders on Thursday, Hundley and Sherfield connected again for another touchdown. This time it was for 40 yards.
Hundley has solidified himself as the team’s backup quarterback and Sherfield could be pushing to be a starter at receiver.
