The Cincinnati Bengals might have something special with safety Brandon Wilson on special team returns.
Wilson, thrown into the role thanks to injuries to Darius Phillips, Alex Erickson and others, started the team’s Week 6 game against the Baltimore Ravens with an exclamation point.
A week removed from coming in as an emergency returner after an Erickson injury and taking his first attempt for more than 50 yards, Wilson went right to the house in Week 6.
Officially, the touchdown counts as the team’s first of its variety since Bernard Scott took one back in 2009, so the epic breaking of a streak might provide a big boost for a winless team:
