Brad Lyons came off the bench to earn Morecambe a late point on Tuesday night.
Lyons - currently on loan with the League Two club from Blackburn Rovers - made an instant impact in the 1-1 draw with Bolton Wanderers.
The former Coleraine midfielder headed home an 83rd-minute equaliser with what was his first ever goal in English football.
It came from John O'Sullivan's corner, with Lyons ghosting into the box to head into the bottom corner..
Lyons said on Twitter: "Delighted to get my first @ShrimpsOfficial goal tonight but most importantly help the team get a good point on the road! On to Saturday now."
The point moves Morecambe into the play-off places ahead of Scunthorpe United's visit to Lancashire this Saturday.
