Calipari family dinners just got awkward.
Brad Calipari, a Kentucky basketball player, and son of UK coach John Calipari has put his name in the NCAA transfer portal.
The younger Calipari redshirted this past season and averaged only 2.7 minutes and 0.4 points per game over his previous two years with the program.
Entering the portal doesn’t necessarily mean he is leaving Kentucky, but he now is able to freely explore other options. Because he just graduated, he could transfer and play somewhere else right away.
Maybe the transfer isn’t a huge surprise to Wildcats fans, but it sure was to his own sister, Megan, who tweeted this Thursday morning:
