Prime Minister Boris Johnson today revealed a roadmap out of lockdown.
Speaking in the House of Commons he told Parliament at 3.30pm how he will prioritise socialising and schooling with non-essential shops, the hospitality and beauty industries having to wait months before they can reopen.
Mr Johnson announced at the weekend that every adult will be offered a Covid-19 vaccination by the end of July.
The news also confirms an end to the Tier system with a gradual rollout of measures taking place nationally.
Mr Johnson said that any further changes will take place in five week periods, at least, with four weeks for a measures to be observed and reviewed, and a further week's notice to allow notice of any upcoming changes.
