WATCH: Boomer Esiason takes jab at Odell Beckham Jr. over New York exit

NFL analyst Boomer Esiason has taken a shot at Browns receiver Odell Beckham Jr. for how his time in New York came to a close.

In an interview with NJ.com, the former NFL quarterback claimed that OBJ’s quad injury isn’t what kept him off the field at the end of 2018 — it was his attitude.

Esiason referred to the rising tensions between the receiver and the Giants throughout the 2018 season, and that he quit on the team shortly after hitting the 1,000 yards receiving mark.

“He had 1,000 yards and (six) touchdowns or something,” Esiason said. “‘OK, I’m good. As long as I get my 1,000-yard season.’”

“That takes a lot of chestnuts.”

Yikes.
