Watch: Body cam footage of Odell Beckham Jr. plane incident released

Odell Beckham Jr. was involved in an incident on a flight back in November, resulting in him being removed from the plane before takeoff. Beckham was kicked off the plane for not putting on his seatbelt and cooperating with the requests of the flight crew, which thought he was “seriously ill,” according to a statement released by the Miami-Dade Police.

On Wednesday night, body cam footage of the incident was released and it shows exactly what happened before Beckham was escorted off the plane. The flight crew claimed Beckham didn’t have his pants on and refused to put his seatbelt on, which prevented the plane from departing.

After police arrived, they told the crew that Beckham had his pants on and it was up to the captain to decide whether Beckham should be removed from the plane. For him to be removed, the entire plane had to be deboarded.

When passengers began leaving the plane, Beckham is seen yelling at one man who told the receiver to get off the plane.

“Never in my life would I get off the plane for you,” he said. “Specifically you. Maybe everybody else, I would get off the plane (for). (Expletive) don’t mean nothing to me. Ain’t no way you could look at me. Ever. Ever. Get your fat (expletive). Get your (expletive) off the plane for a second. Enjoy the cheeseboard on the way home. Ugly (expletive).”

A longer video of the incident was also released, showing what happened from the time the police got on the plane to Beckham being escorted through the airport.

Beckham remains a free agent and has not played at all this season after tearing his ACL in the Super Bowl as a member of the Rams last February.
