It took almost five full quarters, but the Los Angeles Rams finally scored their first touchdown of the preseason. It came against the Cowboys on Saturday night, as Blake Bortles led the Rams into the end zone following a muffed punt by Dallas.
He hit JoJo Natson for a 7-yard touchdown in the first quarter, knotting the score up at seven. Bortles did a nice job on the drive, capping it off with a short strike over the middle.
Bortles finished his first two drives 7-for-11 with 62 yards and a touchdown pass. He did have two passes batted at the line of scrimmage, but otherwise, he looked sharp.
