Bills quarterback Josh Allen remains in concussion protocol ahead of the team’s trip to play the Titans (2-2), the team announced Friday.
During the fourth quarter of Sunday’s Week 4 game versus the Patriots (4-0), Allen suffered a concussion following a hard hit to the head.
Allen was knocked out of the game as Buffalo (3-1) trailed by six points and was driving. Matt Barkley took over on the drive, which ended as he threw an interception in the end zone on fourth-and-1.
Barkley will start for the Bills in Nashville on Sunday if Allen is not cleared to play.
