Peyton and Eli Manning were back on ESPN2 for an alternate broadcast of “Monday Night Football” in Week 10.
The Manning brothers were on the call for Von Miller and Odell Beckham Jr. making their first appearances for the Los Angeles Rams, but those debuts were overshadowed by a 31-10 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
Peyton and Eli had four guests on Monday’s broadcast: NFL commentator Al Michaels, professional golfer Phil Mickelson, NBA star Draymond Green and former NFL quarterback Philip Rivers.
As usual, the alternate broadcast featured many witty remarks and playful jabs, but not just from Peyton and Eli. Mickelson clearly enjoyed teasing Peyton, his golf partner in multiple charity tournaments.
Peyton and Eli will return to ESPN2 next week to call another “MNF” showdown, this time featuring the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New York Giants (Eli’s former team). Manning’s old rivalry with Bucs QB Tom Brady makes next week’s game must-watch TV.
