In the Disney restart bubble at the NBA campus at Lake Buena Vista, Florida, Boston Celtics star forward Jaylen Brown truly spread his wings as a leader on his team, both on and off the court.
The Cal-Berkeley product was wildly successful in using his platform to fight for racial equity, and Brown managed to help carry the Celtics to the bring of the NBA Finals for the third season in four years, making it clear that Boston belongs among the league’s elite teams.
The Georgia native was also one of the team’s most reliable players on both ends of the ball.
Defending some of the NBA’s toughest covers as the Celtics progressed through the 2020 NBA Playoffs to their eventual defeat in Game 6 of the East Finals by the Miami Heat, he put up 21.8 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.5 steals per game.
