WATCH: Best of Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum in 2019-20

Overshadowed by drama and trade rumors in 2018-19, Boston Celtics wings Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum both took a massive step forward just one season later.

Brown leveled up from a bench role, becoming a starter and developing improved handles, body control, and passing while averaging 20.4 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game in the 2019-20 season.

At the same time, Tatum made the leap to All-Star status, getting his first nomination to the midwinter friendly while boosting his stat line to 23.6 points, 7.1 boards and 2.9 assists per game

Both improved considerably over the course of this still-not-quite-finished season.

The tandem has been one of the most potent young combos in the league on both ends of the court, leading the Celtics to being a contender in a season most had them pegged for a retooling.

Watch the video above to see all the best plays the Jay Team has unleashed on opponents this season — and try not to get too impatient for their return in the meantime.
