It’s taken Bears QB Mitch Trubisky 10 quarters, but he finally has his first touchdown of the 2019 season. And then a second.
Trubisky found WR Taylor Gabriel for a three-yard touchdown midway through the second quarter to put the Bears up 14-0. It was the Bears’ second offensive touchdown of the season.
Following a Khalil Mack strip-sack on the Washington 11-yard line, the Bears offense took advantage of generous field position. Trubisky found Gabriel for a one-yard touchdown to extend the Bears’ lead.
The Bears lead 21-0 with two minutes left in the first half.
