Watch: Bears players are not happy with their Madden 20 ratings

The Bears are used to being disrespected. But following a season where they went from worst-to-first with a 12-4 record and an NFC North title, they’re still being disrespected.

‘Madden NFL 20’ released their complete player ratings Monday, and it’s safe to say that Bears players are just as frustrated as Bears fans with the results.

Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky’s 75 rating was 27th among starting QBs, where Lamar Jackson, Ryan Fitzpatrick and Jameis Winston were all rated higher. Clearly a show of disrespect for a Pro Bowl quarterback that was impressive in his second season.

But the disrespect didn’t stop there.

In a new video shared on Bears social platforms, backup QB Chase Daniel revealed Madden ratings to teammates Tarik Cohen, Akiem Hicks, Eddie Jackson, Allen Robinson and Patrick Scales.

They’re not too pleased with their ratings. (Madden 20: Take note.)

Here are the ratings for the players above:

  • Tarik Cohen – 85
  • Akiem Hicks – 87
  • Eddie Jackson – 91
  • Allen Robinson – 86
  • Patrick Scales – 39

“Disrespect” was a word that came up often during the reveal.

“I don’t know what you have against the Chicago Bears, but ya’ll are very disrespectful,” Jackson said.

While there were some shocking ratings, perhaps none more shocking than Scales’ 39 rating, which made him the lowest-rated player on the Bears.

“How can you be in the NFL and rank a 39?” Cohen wondered.

The one thing that Madden did get right was Khalil Mack, who was one of four players with a 99 rating. But everything else?

“Just have those updates on point,” Robinson said. “Have those updates coming weekly.”

You hear that, Madden 20?
