Watch: Bangladesh make a mess of a run out chance against India in 3rd T20I

NEW DELHI: Bangladesh failed to win a match on this India tour. They lost the Test series 2-0 and the T20I series 3-0.

In fact, India gave them a sound thrashing with an extraordinary batting performance in the third T20I at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Saturday.

India registered the highest T20I total by a Test nation by amassing 297/6 riding on Sanju Samson's blazing hundred and then bowled out Bangladesh for 164 to win the match by 133 runs.

And when a team is on the rampage to score runs, it is obvious that run out chances and catches do occur.

One such run out chance came Bangladesh's way when India were 255/3 in 17.2 overs.

Hardik Pandya got an inside edge off Mustafizur Rahman the ball rolled back towards the keeper Litton Das, but Riyan Parag ran from the non-striker's end but Pandya didn't.

Both Parag and Pandya were at the same end. But Litton Das' underarm throw went over the bowler at the non-striker's end.

The throw was so wayward that the fielder backing up - Bangladesh Najmul Hossain Shanto - couldn't gather it cleanly either and that allowed Pandya to complete the single.

This was one of those missed run-out chances that are often among the funniest and most frustrating moments in cricket and happen due to poor coordination, panic, or just sheer bad luck.
