Watch Ballyhale's Michael Fennelly tell students they've 'no homework' after All-Ireland win - but there's a twist

The pupils of Scoil Phadraig in Ballyhale were sent into a frenzy this morning after they received news they could barely believe - but it was too good to be true.

Fresh off captaining Ballyhale Shamrocks to All-Ireland glory on St Patrick's day, teacher Michael Fennelly was on hand to give students the talk they'd all been waiting for - that there'd be a temporary ban on homework.

And students went crazy when the ex-Kilkenny talisman announced that there'd be no homework for the entire month of March.

But the ecstasy would be short lived as Fennelly's seemingly generous gesture was put in perspective - there are only two schooldays left in the month.

And taking to Twitter, Fennelly confirmed that the crowd soon turned on him once the realisation of the date set in.
