Matthew Moore was ice fishing recently in New Hampshire when he captured video footage of a bald eagle walking precariously atop the frozen surface toward a piece of fish.
WYFF News 4 shared the footage this week, with music, and it inspired dozens of comments, including one from an admirer who awarded the eagle a perfect 10 “on the old way of scoring a skate routine.”
Another wrote: “Even with the talons a very slippery walk.”
The eagle was clearly eyeing a morsel discarded onto the ice at Lake Winnipesaukee.
Moore, whose footage also was featured on the u local New Hampshire Facebook page, was not reached for comment.
