The drama from Monday Night Football which followed a 31-3 win by the 49ers over the Browns has a conclusion following Baker Mayfield’s media availability Wednesday.
In case you missed it, San Francisco (4-0) cornerback Richard Sherman complained after the game that the Cleveland quarterback did not shake his hand at the pre-game coin toss. Video evidence proved otherwise and Sherman said he was sorry after changing his story a couple times.
Mayfield met with media Wednesday and answered questions about the situation by saying, “I know what I did. But that’s the one time a camera and something recording me has gone in my favor.”
The response is self-aware, certainly, by the sometimes controversial QB.
