Watch Aviv Gozali imanari roll his way to fastest submission in Bellator history

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – It only took Aviv Gozali 11 seconds to imanari roll his way to victory Saturday night at Bellator 225.

The 18-year-old Israeli fighter started out the bout with one move on his mind – a heel hook. As the opening bell sounded, Gozali (3-0 MMA, 3-0 BMMA) rolled towards opponent Eduard Muravitskiy (9-9 MMA, 0-1 BMMA) and snatched a leg.

From there, Gozali swiftly worked to lock in a grueling heel hook. A mere 11 seconds into the bout, Muravitskiy was forced to tap. The submission was the quickest in the promotion’s history.

The submission can be seen below (via Twitter):

Gozali has now won all three of his Bellator bouts inside the distance via submission. He has ended each bout by a different method of submission. In his debut, the Israeli born fighter became the first fighter to be born in the 2000s to compete inside the Bellator cage.

Bellator 225 took place Saturday at Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Conn.
