Shoppers at a Co Antrim supermarket got a surprise this week when a special visitor came to the store.
The Antrim store, based at Junction One, had their 10th birthday recently and staff at the store decided to have a bit of fun, celebrating in style.
Community Champion for the local supermarket, Barbara Logan, explained how she had been looking through old memories when she saw an Elvis costume.
And Antrim's answer to the King of Rock and Roll, better known as Brian to his colleagues, got all dressed up and decided to create a hilarious music video.
Speaking to Belfast Live, Barbara said: “The Antrim store recently celebrated its 10 birthday and I’d been looking through a lot of our old photos and saw the Elvis costume and it gave me an idea.
"Our store porter, Brian has worked here for 10 years, since the store opened, and wore it once for me for Mother’s Day activity we were doing, so I thought I could ask him if he’d wear it again and we could have a bit of fun and make a music video in store.
“Brian is such a good sport and agreed right away. Once Brian was in, I went round the different departments to see if anyone else wanted to join in and loads of colleagues did – I was delighted."
She added: “It’s been such a strange time over the last couple of months, and making the video ended up being the perfect way to bring everyone together and most importantly have a laugh.
"It really gives a sense of the team spirit here at Asda Antrim – we’re a down to earth bunch and that’s what I love about my colleagues.
"It certainly brought a smile to our faces and I hope it does for others.”
