Fleadh fever swept into Drogheda yesterday as the week-long traditional music festival began in a whirl of excitement.
Local grocery store Hurley Bros have decided to do a little bit extra for the event and made a little video to kick things off.
Ailish Hurley told the Irish Mirror that: "Every second customer in over the last few weeks looking for clues as to what we had planned this year.
"But just like last year, it's all done off the cuff and totally unplanned. I think that's the best part of it and the most fun.
"After the fun of last year we couldn't wait for this year to begin."
She also said that the Fleadh is a great for businesses and the people of Drogheda.
When asked if she had anything else planned for the week she replied: "We may have a few things up our sleeves for the rest of the week and we are looking forward to sharing our antics."
