A year and a half after Ryan Shazier suffered an injury against the Cincinnati Bengals that had doctors tell him he might not walk again, the Pittsburgh Steelers’ linebacker didn’t only walk … he danced the night away at his wedding.

Among his teammates present to celebrate with Shazier and bride Michelle Rodriguez were T.J. Watt, James Connor and JuJu Smith-Schuster.
Shazier will not play in 2019 but will gain another year toward his NFL pension. He is on the roster with the physically unable to perform designation because, as coach Mike Tomlin has said, “it’s Ryan Shazier.”
