Plumes of smoke were seen billowing from a house in Nottingham after a fire started this afternoon.
The fire service were called to a house fire in Ashfield Road, Sneinton on Friday, March 19.
A spokesperson at Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called to reports of a house fire at 16.07.
"It is still early days so we are not sure what caused the fire at this stage."
Resident Laura Harper, who lives at the back of the house which was on fire, said: "At 4.15pm my son shouted me to say there was loads of smoke. I heard the fire engines.
"The smoke subsided within minutes and the fire was out."
