Watch as PSNI vehicle involved in collision whilst responding to Antrim emergency

Footage has emerged of a PSNI vehicle colliding with a crash barrier whilst responding to an emergency in Co Antrim.

The two-vehicle collision happened on the Lough Road area of Antrim on Sunday, August 30 just before 12.30pm.

There were no reports of any injuries in the incident as the footage appears to show the PSNI vehicle overtake a car before sliding around the corner in wet conditions and into a crash barrier.

Sergeant Annett said: “The driver of the police vehicle was responding to an emergency when there was a collision with a Volvo, being driven by a member of the public.

“Minor damage was caused to the Volvo. There were no reports of any injuries.”
